About us

Expertise, experience, and attention.

My name is Anne Fraser. I am originally from Scotland and have lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1992. I combine professional foot care with classical and advanced reflexology.

Background

Scottish roots, Dutch practice.

I am originally from Scotland and have lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1992. Over the years I have deliberately specialised in two disciplines that reinforce each other: medical foot care and reflexology. Healthy feet carry the whole body — and at the same time the feet tell us a great deal about how that body is doing.

Appointments in my practice are scheduled generously, with time for a thorough intake, a focused treatment, and advice that looks beyond the immediate concern.

Professional care starts with listening, a thorough assessment, and a treatment that does precisely what is needed — no more, no less.

Approach

Every treatment in three steps.

A structured approach in which every treatment starts with a thorough intake and ends with concrete advice.

  1. 01

    Intake

We map out your concerns, health history, and treatment goal. This inventory shapes the direction.

  2. 02

    Treatment

Pedicure, reflexology (classical, ART, or RLD), or a combination — focused on your concern and goal.

  3. 03

    Advice & follow-up

Concrete advice, useful home exercises where relevant, and referral when that is in your best interest.

Training & memberships

Qualifications

Expertise requires a solid foundation. My training and memberships ensure that I work to recognised, professional standards.

ProVoet

Pedicure — Netherlands

Registered member of ProVoet, the Dutch professional organisation for pedicurists. I work according to professional guidelines, follow continuous professional development, and meet high standards of hygiene, expertise, and diligence.

Association of Reflexologists (AoR)

Reflexology — United Kingdom

Full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), the leading professional body for reflexologists in the UK. Trained at the Oxford School of Reflexology, where I qualified in 2009 in the Inge Dougans method: Five Elements, Twelve Meridians.

Advanced Reflexology Techniques

Focused Reflexology — Tony Porter

Registered ART member (Advanced Reflexology Techniques) of Tony Porter. Obtained through numerous intensive workshops over several years, in both the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. ART enables focused, in-depth reflexology for persistent or specific concerns.

RLD

Reflexology Lymph Drainage

RLD — Sally Kay (2020)

Certified in Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) since 2020, a technique developed by Sally Kay. RLD supports lymphatic drainage via specific reflexes in the feet and is applied internationally — including for lymphoedema following breast cancer treatment.

Important: health insurance & reflexology in the Netherlands

My reflexology training was completed in the United Kingdom. These qualifications are not recognised by Dutch reflexology associations. In contrast to the UK — where the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) functions as the overarching professional body — there is no single national professional organisation for reflexology in the Netherlands.

Dutch associations each require completion of their own (mandatory) training programme as a condition of membership. Because my qualifications are not recognised by these associations, I am unable to obtain Dutch membership.

What does this mean for you? Reflexology treatments with me cannot be claimed from your Dutch health insurer. Whether and to what extent reimbursement is possible depends on the agreements between insurers and the relevant professional body — this varies by insurer and policy.

This does not apply to pedicure treatments: for those I am regularly registered through ProVoet.
